Kodak - Retina IIIc - Schneider Kreuznach Retina Xenon C f2 50mm lens

Presented at Photokina in 1954, it was then the most expensive in the Retina model range. It would be manufactured until 1957.
It is equipped with a coupled rangefinder and an uncoupled selenium cell for light measurement.
This model is the pinnacle of the Retina series which began in 1934 and continued until the early 1960s.
The camera features interchangeable lenses, which share the fixed diaphragm and rear lens elements. It could be supplied with Schneider-Kreuznach or Rodenstock lenses in 35mm, 50mm and 80mm.

The Kodak Retina IIIc It is considered an excellent camera with a superior lens, although less expensive than the Leicas of the time (still costing 10 months' wages for a worker). It is the last camera before the mass production in which Kodak would become mired .
