By acquiring Dr Nagel Kamerawerk in Stuttgart in 1932, Kodak created a new subsidiary which became Kodak AG. They then produced Kodak-branded devices with a level of manufacturing and performance that was, for the most part, higher than the American standard.
Vollenda folding cameras already existed in the Nagel catalogue, and the name was retained by Kodak. This 6 x 9 camera, called Vollenda 620, refers to the 620 film released in 1931. Anoptical viewfinder is located on the left side of the camera.
