Leica M4 - Summicron 50mm f/2
The Leica M4 is an iconic rangefinder camera, often considered one of the finest 35mm cameras ever made. With its bright viewfinder and precision mechanics, it offers an unparalleled photographic experience. It is particularly prized by collectors and street photographers for its speed and ease of use.
It is shown here paired with the Summicron 50mm f/2 Dual Range : a revolutionary lens upon its release in terms of image quality. It featured the new non-folding Summicron M mount. A dual-range version of the rigid M mount , this lens has two focusing ranges (normal and close focus) from 1m to 48cm and a reduction ratio scale, as well as a distance scale on the close focus range. A locking mechanism prevents the accessory from being attached unless the lens is set to the close focus range.
